Homemade biscuits,divinity candy(which I can't make),and goo-lash(veggies,rice,and ground beef, and Chocolate delight.I will miss making some of these things with my mom.Especially the chocolate delight cause we made together every Christmas.
What is this?
And how do you make it? (if ya don't mind tellin').

Well someone on this site named their child Memphis, any one for San Diego or Nashville or other cities maybe. As long as everyone is going for different, why not Vaseline, or Vicks, or Emetrol?

Just finished the best steak I've had since I've been to the midwest. Got it at West Metro Produce and Meat market!! Got 2 huge ribeyes, potatoes, corn, and honeydew for dessert for just at $20.
Just wanted to let everyone know what a good deal and great quality!

We ended up doing "breakfast for dinner" with it. It was yummy! I had scrambled cheese eggs, smoked sausage, and biscuits.
But now I have several ideas for next time.

It is a Weight Watchers Recipe that I got off the computer a few years ago. You can use Diet Soda or Reg it doesn't matter. Sounds gross but it is so good.
COLA CHICKEN
Chicken breasts or pieces
1 c. Coca Cola
1 c. Ketchup
Salt and pepper to taste
Skin chicken; arrange skillet. Pour coca cola and ketchup over chicken. Let come to a rolling boil; lower heat and simmer for 1 hour.

My relatives who are from deep south Georgia (which I will deny relation to if confronted)
pronounce the names of a number of surrounding cities and deserts in a manner that makes me
cringe. Some examples are......

On top of all of this, one of my in-laws there has a speech impediment. I have no idea what
he's saying most of the time. I just nod my head and say "Oh really, that's interesting Boomhauer!"

Just the standard, do not get the area wet for 24 hours..one of my bostons has medicated shampoo from the vet, but I still rotate with the ivory and use the ivory on the other boston all the time. We have never really had a flea problem..other than the one or two stray you find in the tub.
My mom swears by keeping moth balls in vacumn bag and them throw out the bag and that would kill fleas in carpet or just putting table salt on carpet and then vaccumn.....kinda hard to put moth balls in a bag...duh...when most have bagless vacumns.
My mom's is prehistoric.
Well I still have a vaccum cleaner with a bag, so I guess I am prehistoric too! LOL

We use frontline only, just a tip a groomer told me...frontline will not prevent a flea from getting on your baby, but the flea will die when it bites.
If you wash your dog with ivory soap (the bar) let it set a min. or so and rinse it will kill fleas that are on the dog,,,and wow does it clean away sum yuck. As an added bonus, it is super cheap
Will the ivory soap wash all the frontline or whatever brand you use away?
I was told one time that once you put that on the dog you needed to
use very mild soap (like baby shampoo).

Anybody been to Justice for Girls? My daughter loves them, but I can't afford them unless they are having a good sale.
I was thinking of going to BJ's for the generic school supplies. I saw some composition notebooks, mechanical pencils, notebook paper, folders and things like that for really good prices the other day. I am buying for 3 kids, one elem, one middle, and one high school. Thought this might be the cheapest route this time.
Where have you seen great book bag prices? And shoes?

While I understand your plight, there are many, many families dealing with having children in two (or three) different schools. If you are in the district for the new school, then that is where your daughter will go. From my understanding, ALL school choice has been cut out (unless you work at a school and want your kids to attend THAT school). Many of our friends will have one child at EPHS and others at NPHS.
FYI - you will not find any BOE people on this board. Your best bet would be to personally visit them regarding this issue and see if you can straighten it out.

My husband saw him and said he was good too, but now they are closing the New Georgia office and moving to Villa Rica. The move takes place August 1. I am not driving that far to go to the doctor so I changed my PCP.
