    I've been waiting for someone to nail one of us while we are pulling in our driveway. Just. Waiting.

     

    My BIL pulled into the driveway today, person behind him didn't see him until the last minute, slammed on her brakes - person behind her rear-ended her. Luckily, my BIL wasn't hit. My driveway is *just* far enough away from the traffic light to have enough speed to do some damage. Just ask the guy who's airbags went off from the impact. ;)

     

    I can't tell you how many times I've had close encounters - it's ridiculous.

     

    So, my PSA is to ask people to please pay attention on the road. I have three children in the car with me often, and would hate to get angry at a fellow driver for failure to pay attention. Thank you. :)

     

    I saw all of you out there looking the situation over. Was anyone hurt?

    Question about mulch/rock/pinestraw

    We are considering replacing the pinestraw with the rock mulch in our pine islands, does anyone have it. If so, have you been pleased with the way it lasts and does it help control weeds? It looks like it would be absolutely NO fun to put down but I have heard it will last for a long time. Or any other recommendations would be appreciated, I just hate how often this pine straw needs to be touched up.

    Don't Ask Why's bike is way faster than mine and I cant have that.

     

    The money is for a 103cu in Screaming Eagle H-D V-twin.

    I dont think its fair she just has to roll her throttle and and I have to drop back 2 gears to catch her.

    Can y'all help a brother out?

    My wife and I read Dave Ramsey's book Financial Peace and have been blessed by this book and our actions. So it got me thinking about another hurdle that I have been facing for years....losing weight. Dave's book was empowering, so I'm looking for a book or other "inspirational boost" to get focused on permanent weight loss. So if you have lost unhealthy weight and kept it off what did you do or what thing did you cling to that kept you going?

    Ok I am asking for my dad. He wants to buy a old hot rod. He even fly to Arizona to look at one and he didn't like it.

     

    Well I was watching TV and I saw a show about cars show that have old cars. Well I am as dumb as it gets about old cars and I want to help him out.

     

    Does anyone on here know where poeple in georgia might sell their old cars. He has been online looking at Ebay and hotrods.com but I wanted to point him somewhere where he could see them in person.

     

    Any ideas??

    Post here exactly what he is looking for. There are plenty of people here that know of cars all around that may be for sale and may meet his requirements.
