    Ok they ask you to turn the phone of so the phone can reset in the switch. Here is a little tip people if your phone is more than 3 years old then yes you do need to update because the system updates. You dont have to sign a 2 year contract you have 3 other choices...1. Buy the phone out right 2. Buy a phone off of ebay or classifieds 3. Buy a prepaid go phone that ranges from $15 - $100 and stick your sim card in it.

    Authorities arrested Alabama head coach Nick Saban in the predawn

    hours Monday at his home in Tuscaloosa on animal cruelty charges.

     

    Saban, 56, was charged with 85 counts of animal cruelty in an alleged attack which occurred

    Saturday night in Athens, Georgia. Police said that as many as

    92,138 witnesses saw Saban and a large group of violent young men under his control hit, kick,

    crush and destroy a large pack of mostly-docile bulldogs. One officer was quoted

    as saying, "I haven't seen bulldogs treated this badly since the Michael Vick case."

    Police Guarding GAs Truck?

    I went to QT this morning at 10 am and there was crazy lines. I just wanted something to drink and smokes si I cut around everbody. I got out of my car and noticed the middle section was empty and there was all these cars in a long long line. I scratched my head and went inside and got what I needed. Went back out and there was still no cars in the middle so I backed my car up and filled up. I couldn't believe that no body was using the pumps. As soon as I was done everyone caught on. Lol. I guess patience is truelly a virtue.

    This just brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing and bless everyone that helped. The family will be in my prayers. I seen the life flight take off and the first prayer was said.

     

    I was there. I am a coach for one of the 5th grade Fortified Hills Upwards flag football teams. The field is elevated above where the crash sight happened, so none of the parents, and thank God none of the children, saw the accident... but it was heard. It was like a bomb went off below us. When I heard it, my initial thought was, "what was that?" I then saw the smoke rising from where the noise came from. I am very proud of the response of several of the adults on the field. I am a police officer of fourteen years, so I am wired to repond, but several people who do not have to think that way ran to the scene, not knowing what had just happened, jumping fences to get there. When I cleared the fence and saw the wreckage, I thought there is no way that a human being would have been in the front seat of this vehicle and survived. I was amazed that the drivers was semi-conscience when we got the the car. By a miracle of God, there were two nurses that appeared out of no where and immediately started to attend to the driver. One went to the driver's side and the other went to the passenger's side. When she did I thought there was no way that any person could get to him from the passenger's side due to the amount of crush on the vehicle. I went to check the engine compartment for the possibility of the engene igniting and turning this into a bigger catastrophy. When I did not not see any obvious signs of the engine igniting, I returned to the driver's side. To my amazement, the nurse on the passenger side was able to get her whole upper torso into the vehicle to attend to the driver. The nurses asked for towels to roll up and stabilize his neck. I called up to the people on the hill and within seconds an armload of cloth came to us. When I looked at what was sent down, I realized it was the clothing off of peoples back from the football fields. A person who lived near the scene also ran and retrieved several towels that were manipulated into a neck splint by the nurses. A male was also at the driver side holding the driver's hand. It was encouraging to see that the driver had a tight grip of the man's hand. This man talked and held the driver's hand all the time until the perimedics arrived and started to cut the driver out of the car. The nurses and this man may not think so, but I consider them to be heroes... even if the driver did not live. If he did survive, it is due to these two nurses and the man holding his hand that willed him through. After the perimedics arrived, my thoughts went back to the children that I coach back up on the field. I ran back up the hill and was greatful to see that several of the adults, including my wife, gathered the children away from view of the scene. We tried to return them to some sort of normality by continuing their football games. We shortly called halftime and prayed for the accident victim and the emergency personel attending to him. We saw the life flight helicopter circle and land behind the tree line towards Dallas Hwy. I was really discouraged that the we saw the helicopter take off, but did not hear sirens from the ambulances that were on scene that would have had to take the driver to the helicopter. I hope that the post earlier of the driver being airlifted to AMC is true because then there is hope.

     

    Going back to a post a few posts earlier, I would be interested where they heard that the driver was upset and ran his car into the tree. The only reason that I ask is that at the scene there were no skid marks what so ever. I commented to my wife later that this could be due to one (or a combination) of four things:

     

    1. brake failure (man made/homicide or accidental)

    2. DUI/accidental (meaning to hit the brakes but instead hitting the accelerator)

    3. Unconscienceness (falling asleep or DUI or diabetic shock)

    4. Intentional/Suicide

     

    None the less, I have seen several fatal accidents in my time as a police officer, and like I said this was the worst crush on a vehicle and still have the driver conscience at the scene. I wish that I got the names of the two nurses that appeared from nowhere, because if he did live through this, he has them to thank.
