I think they should put them on ships like they did folks after Katrina. Give them medical care and arrange for their governments to take them back. Don't put them in American schools and don't make Americans who are struggling to care for their own children take care of the rest of the world.

Apparently they are protected by a law that was passed in 2002 that treats kids from those countries differently than those from Mexico. Those from Mexico can be shipped back immediately but these kids are going to be allowed to stay and we have to take care of them. De Facto amnesty. The border must be sealed or thousands more will be here and we will have to take care of them too.

It should be. Florida is the state that I read about that was firing a long time government employee because she could not speak Spanish. Get ready Nick because Georgia is going to be dealing with many of the illegal children crossing the Texas border. We will have to teach them in their language. Hundreds are being sent to Anniston Alabama. We may not even know when they are sent to Georgia. The cost will be enormous. Folks make sure your kids shots are up to date because they are bringing illness with them.

When in Rome..... English should be the official Language of America and American's should not lose their jobs because they can't speak Spanish. That is happening you know. Grandkid will be able to speak it out of self defense and to broaden her employment prospects but it is still wrong that she has to be the one to make that effort.

Ask me what I think about the prejudice our Government seems to harbor against Americans. They are suing a company because the company wants employees who speak English. Employers started offering health insurance as a perk after WWII to entice the best workers. How we got from that to thinking it is a right of the worker is beyond me.

They had taken the breathing tube out when I was there. He is having a lot of trouble breathing though and it is probably scary for him. I encouraged Melissa to make sure that she takes care of herself. She is a good lady and a loving wife.
