I found this for you..... The project is located in south western Cobb County, and will bring sewer flows from the Sweetwater interceptor to the South Cobb Water Reclamation Facility. Along the way, it will collect flows from the Silver Creek, Carroll Creek, I-20, and South Cobb areas. At the south east end of the project, a small tunnel will collect flows from the Nickajack basin. My hubby is stranded too.... but at maxham rd and thorton.

The tunnel from Six Flags to Atlanta. It will be for storm drains after they are done with it. You may have seen Atlanta's mayor on the news a awhile back taking tours of the tunnels. The other tunnel off of south atlanta rd has flooded before but they have never been trapped by the water. When you turn onto Maxham Rd. from Thorton you will pass the Kroger shopping center go though the red light. When you see the Citgo gas station on the right the job sight is just passed it (look behind it you will see the cranes).

My hubby works in the tunnel out there. The tunnel flooded so they had to go in and pump out the water to get to their equipment so they could get it out. When they came out of the tunnel at 11 they were surrounded by water. I haven't heard from him since.... =( I'm very worried.

My hubby is trapped at his work off of maxham rd and thorton rd due to rising waters. The police are there but they can't get to them yet. There was NO standing water at all when he got to work but now they can't get out.

I was told you could but it's like $218.00 a month.

you can buy a membership into their resort? I am not just talking about the golf course, but everything (swimming, tennis, playgrounds, etc.)

Funny you should say that, I called my hubby when I sent this post because I knew he was about to pass by there. He said he had already passed it and he didn't see anything..LOL
