I know on mine, it has cooking times on the side of it. It will give you how many minutes per pound. Then you do the math and set the timer!! Enjoy your jerky!! LOL

There is a good sit down Chinese restaurant at the intersection at 278 and business 6 in the new shopping center behind the big bank across from The Ark Animal Hospital. We have been there couple of times and it's good.
I was going to suggest this one too! I've only been in there once, so far, but it was good!

I immediately said, "Charlotte, Miranda, Carrie, and Samantha."....... I am moritified.
Try not to be so hard on yourself!! LOL I'm sure more guys can name them all too, they just won't admit it!!!
And here I thought their names were Grumpy, Slutty, Bitchy and Ditzy.
That's just their nick names!!!

One of my Chi's was prone to seizures, he would have one on average every 3-4 weeks. Sometimes more often. It wasn't until June\July that I realized that the Adantix Flea Preventative was causing the seizures. So I stopped using it on him, he still kept having them until at least August. But now as far as I know he hasn't had one since September.
Glad you found out what was causing them and it was an easy fix! I give mine Frontline and had to use Advantix once and one of mine got a rash that took forever and a bunch of visits to the vet to go away!! That is the only thing out of the ordinary, so I'm sure it was that!!

Does anyone know if you are supposed to get a W-2 from Department of Labor when you have received unemployment benefits the prior year?
If you had them take the taxes out while getting it, you will, if not, you will get a 1099 and will have to pay those taxes now.

Wal-mart...never thought of that! We did try Cracker Barrel...but I was surprised that they don't carry any of that stuff. Thanks for the other suggestions too. If Wal-mart doesn't have it, we will try that truck stop.
Actually, I think there is another truck stop type place a little further down from the Cracker Barrel on (Thornton Rd) 278. Maybe by Fulton Industrial?

Thanks, she kept holding her arm so her hand was at or above the level of her head. That may have something to do with it, I've never of having to do that with a broken arm.
I've never had to do that either. Of course, I never sat still when I broke mine, so I was doing cartwheels with the cast on! LOL I'm surprised mine healed properly.

..as you may know I had posted that she had fallen a few weeks ago and broken her arm. She went back today for x-rays and the bones haven't healed properly. The bones are misaligned and she has to have her arm rebroken to set the bones properly. She's going tomorrow to have that done. She could use everyone's good wishes, juju, prayers, mojo... etc.
Keeping your Mom in my prayers!! That really stinks! Did they not set it properly when they put the cast on or did it just not align during the healing process? Sorry she has to go through that all over again. I hope they put her out to do it!! OUCH!!!

Does hair straightening work?

OK, I'm not a hair person, but I've been getting my hair straightened for years! The first time I had it done, I was a model for the salon and got it done for free. It was very weird at first, I had hair that moved and it didn't frizz or anything. It was amazing. Next time I had it done, the girl didn't do it right and yes, it straightened it, but I also lost a lot of my hair off the top of my head and had to wear it in a ponytail for months until the top grew back in and I could do something with it. Just make sure to have someone who knows what they're doing. It can get expensive and you would have to do it about every 6 months.
If you think it's going to put an end to the flat iron, that's not going to happen. You will still have to smooth it a bit with it. Since I've been in Georgia, Krystal from Bloom Hair Salon has been doing mine and she uses the Chi product. I don't think anybody has ever gotten it as straight as the first time I've done it, but it does make it easier to straighten with the iron when it's done. I don't have just wavy hair, I have ringlets, with lots of frizz, if I don't straighten it!
