  1. how much and what size ?

    Our asking is 134,900

If you would like to come by and see please feel free to give me a call at 229-220-6237 or my agent at 229-220-8479.

Our house plan is the second largest in the subdivision. The garage alone is large enough for 3 cars (however it's doored for a 2 car garage).

The back yard is completely fenced. 195ft across the back end and 60+ft on each side.

  2. The problem here is....it shouldn't take a police officer to stop and do things like this. Last week I was taking my son to the Post Office with me and a younger man on a motorcycle was having some serious troubles with the bike. Being a bike junky myself I decided to pull off the 120 Connector to see if I could help him. He didn't have a cell phone so I let him use mine to get in touch with his dad. Come to find out, the battery in the bike was dead so I gave him a jump to get it started and get him moving again. He wasn't going but 5-10 miles up the road so I was hoping it could get enough charge to get him there. Needless to say, it didn't. I don't know how many of you have a 2 year old...but when they are in the back seat being as good as mine you know you're doing the right thing for this young man and God is taking care of the little boy in the backseat. Anyways....Had to jump this guy about 10 times to get him close enough to where he was going that he could walk up there and get a battery. The moral of the story here is.....it doesn't matter what your schedule is that day....there is a reason that voice in the back of your head says..."Man...I should have stopped to see if that person is okay".......one other story really quick....was driving from Southern GA back up here towards Atlanta. It was earlier this year and it was quite cool outside....I noticed 3 pieces of luggage on the side of Hwy 27 and decided to pull over and move them off the road so they wouldn't get splattered all over the place. What I didn't notice, was the woman laying behind the luggage to try and stay out of the wind. I ended up giving her a ride almost 200 miles from the place I picked her up...and gave her 20 bucks to get some food. You probably won't believe a word of this next part....but no kidding...not less than a week later I had some of the greatest news in my life....something you really just don't get everyday....I won't tell you what it was because it's rather personal.....but you just don't get this news everyday. Everything happens for a reason......just because they don't look like the "friendliest" person in the world doesn't automatically make them a criminal, killer or rapist. Now....be careful in who you go and help and where you help them........But if you can offer that assistance......it's the responsibility of a human being to take care of others!!!

My two cents for the year.....you won't hear me rant on this one again!! :o)

  3. I would have to agree with Freebird, and I'm sorry that it hurt your feelings. However, Being behind the wheel now a days is more of a crap shoot than it is a convenience. Just today driving down 113 towards Villa Rica had a young lady who was chit chatting on her cell phone, and driving in my lane doing at least 20mph over the posted speed limit of 45mph. Had it not been for my rather beautiful headlights and obnoxious horn and obscene finger gestures out the window she most likely would have been one of those lovely insurance seminars that my good buddy Mad Man Art talks about on AM 640. I don't think it was a stab at your family member, and I hope she comes out fine.......my family will be praying for her.....it's more of a general comment that people need to start thinking about driving around 2000+ lbs and not talking on a 14 ounce cell phone. If you ever see me up for election...and you like your phone plastered to your ear while you drive...don't vote for me......they'll be banned wherever I hold office.

  4. There are some really good topics out there if you search Google on what services you can turn off on startup as well. I have my system starting almost NOTHING on boot. I can boot into Vista Ultimate in about 27 seconds. I won't even begin to bore you with my system details......my computer almost cost more than my truck!!!! :o)

  5. First rule you learn ,before flying, if you have a problem steer away from people and property. So sad to hear this. RIP .

Very true. I commend him for piloting his way out of the civilian population. It's the same thing with military pilots. If you're going into residential, you don't eject....you ride it out to save lives.... i.e. The Blue Angel's pilot who was recently killed when his jet crashed. It takes a certain mind set to know you're going in....at least he had others safety when it happened.

  6. HOW DO YOU KNOW THE SPECIFICS OF THIS AIRCRAFT?? WAS IT YOU FLYING THE COBRA AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME AND LOCATION??

No ma'am. I just know their schedule. I am an Active Duty Marine with Marine Aircraft Group 42, which is the Headquarters for HMLA-773 (Red Dogs). I do know who was piloting though...doesn't make much difference. That unit is about to head over to Iraq the first week of Sept. Would ask that the folks in the area keep them in their thoughts and prayers. They are a brave bunch of souls. So...enjoy the "whip whip whip whip" of the AH-1W while you can...you won't hear it again until late next year.

  7. Cobb County was rather nice in the ticket area once. Was able to show military ID and had a VERY VALID reason (near death of a Marine) and got an escort to the base from a Cobb County Officer once. They are "usually" there when you need them...but never there when you want them...like the idiot that just passed you at 100mph on a double yellow going around a corner in the fog at 10:00 PM.....ya know!

  8. It disturbs me that people won't get out there and assist animals in need. I was golfing one afternoon in Gwinnett County and came to the backside of the course. A dog was following some other golfers around the course, and then jetted out into the road. It was immediately hit by a vehicle, which of course didn't stop.....unlucky him I got the full description to include last 4 on the plates...anyways....the dog was dying...and my buddies and I basically held this dog in our arms until it passed......if people can't stop to help the most helpless...what will they do when they come across a person lying there....walk past...just call 911 and hope they get there fast enough.... I really hate most of the human race these days....if everyone was like me...this place would be damn near perfect!

  9. Did anyone catch any traffic on the 10-80 in Hiram yesterday evening around 2000hrs? Silver Cadillac being driven by a 20's something white male. At least 8 units responded in front of Wal-Mart on Hwy 278. The guy nearly side swipped me coming up on my tail end at around 80mph. He fish tailed around the corner behind Ryan's restaurant and probably made it out of there. I didnt' see what happened afterwards, but was hoping someone caught it to see if the little punk was taken into custody.

  11. Good Evening,

Just wanted to introduce everyone to my Dallas, GA based Web Design company. I am a Marine Corps Webmaster and have spilled my knowledge of web design into the civilian world. I'm currently the Web Designer for Atlanta Toys for Tots and my website can be seen at http://www.cvswebdesign.com.

I do quite a bit of work with Real Estate websites, Auto Dealer websites and Web Sales websites. If anyone would like more information just drop me a note at Webmaster@cvswebdesign.com or here on PCom!

    Have a good day,

    Carl

  12. Great job collecting the toys!

As you can probably tell by the screen name here I am a Marine. I am also very heavily associated with Atlanta Toys for Tots as I serve as the web master/designer for them. I am very pleased to say that this year we exceeded our goal by over 100,000 toys. At last count last night we had 440,000 toys. We are VERY excited as this just shows how generous the Atlanta metro community is. Everyone who gave this year should be very proud of themselves. I've seen first hand the children receiving the toys and I can say they are very happy to have them. The smiles on their faces is enough to make you want to continue doing this every year. Just so you know, the warehouse in Lawrenceville is still looking for volunteers this weekend. You can sign up to volunteer by visiting www.atlantatoysfortots.com and clicking on the link on the left for VOLUNTEERS. You can also visit the "CONTACT" page and call the Warehouse directly.

Thanks to all in Paulding County for their support,

  13. I understand about people being worried about helping others because of their own safety, but on the same token if you can't trust fellow man who seems to be in trouble than I don't want to be on this earth anyways. God will keep me safe, and if He deems necessary to have a "faking" citizen in need to take my life and send me home than so be it!

On the other hand......if you want to try and take down a Marine who had every intention on helping you....I think it might be YOU who will be visiting the after life!

As for the "Good Samaritan Law" this is what I was able to find on the internet. It deals with medical emergencies and natural disasters.

    http://georgiamalpractice.com/codes/code-goodsamlaws.htm

Personally I think it should have something to do with helping folks on the side of the road.

    Regards,

    Carl

  14. I watched as 5 or 6 cars drove right around this woman who's vehicle was stranded on the rail road tracks in down town Villa Rica(RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT). Fortunately for her, there were no trains coming. She had been there for quite a while when I stopped to assist her. I don't know if it's a law here in GA but I know in other states they have the "Good Samaritan" law and you are obligated by law to assist a stranded motorist within the constraints of your own safety. If that woman reads these posts....I'm sorry nobody stopped before me....just think of it this way...at least you got to see your tax dollars at work (I was in full Marine Corps Dress Uniform when I stopped to help her...HAHAHA). :o)

Everyone have a great evening...and remember....it could be your mother, brother, sister, father, uncle, cousin or whatever stranded on the rail road tracks....don't you think you would want someone to stop and assist her??

    Jason,

I hope you are using the customers CD KEY for XP. At $30.00 dollars for a re-load you definately aren't using a new copy of XP each time. :o)

  17. I do own a Government Blackberry 7750. It really depends on the model whether or not I can help you with a quick walk through of the features. If you were given it for simple phone/text (SMS) message use than you should have no problems as it should already be setup. If you received it for use with your personal or professional e-mail than setup is a little more difficult. If you plan on using the e-mail address provided by your service provider (i.e. verizon) than your e-mail setup is rather easy with the website walk throughs provided by your carrier. One of the best ideas, since I see you're a user of bulletin boards is to get on the Blackberry users boards. You can do a simple google search for "Blackberry message boards" to find the one you like. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail with any questions. I'm more than willing to lend a hand!

Just as a warning though.....they aren't called CRACKBerry's for nothing!! I don't even go to church without mine...and if it vibrates in church...I look to see who's e-mailing!!! LOL!!!

    From a Crackberry Addict!
