My brother was in the army in the '70's. I would like to know where he was stationed. Is that considered public knowledge? And If i can find out that info, where would I go to find it? TIA

When I lived in florida Palmetto bugs were everywhere. They are attracted to water and we had a pool. One morning we woke up to one on the outside of our glass doors that was the size of a grapefruit. Gross!

I think it only stinks when its threatened. I guess my camera in his face didnt threaten it. I think its a palmetto bug that stinks when you step on it.

Thanks...I googled stink bug and thats what it looks like...I'll let it live. It feeds on other bugs that are harmful. It is creepy looking though.

Well I know that most are good. I have left a green orchard spider on my window for months because its harmless. As far as daddy long legs go. I stay away from those because they are the most poisonous. I know, theirs mouths arent big enough to bite humans but my luck I am going to run into some mutant big mouth daddy longleg, lol I know thats stupid but.....fear isn't always logical. jumping spider? maybe but I thought they were black and white.

I was sitting on my back deck watching my dogs and I felt something on my shoulder. I immediately flicked it off and looked at it and it was a SPIDER!!! Believe me when I say I HATE spiders. I was bitten twice by a black widow and my son was bitten by a brown recluse. So we are very afraid of them. By the time I got my camera to take a pic of it the thing was gone. Ive tried googling a description but cant find it. I just want to know if its dangerous. The spider was small black and had almost a triangle body. the legs were thickened at the end. How funny is that! I planed to do the same thing at the same place and decided to do it for sunday as well. I got a new camera for christmas(Nikon D40) and was going to take the kids out to do just that. I;m still learning how to use it and bought some dvd's on the camera and wanted to try out what I learned. Hope to see ya there!

That is so cute. I made one a couple months ago for a friend. You can really show your creative side with them. So many variations and things you can add to them. I even took a wash cloth up to the mall and had them embroider the baby's name on it. Great job.
