The oceans aren't warming because of "Global Warming" of which more and more independent scientists are starting to dispute. The basis of all science and scientist is to question theories until undisputed proof is found and the fact remains that global warming is still just a theory. The warming and cooling of the oceans is a periodic ebb and flow of the earth's natural ability to regulate it's atmosphere. In my last post I discuss this with the AMO for the Atlantic and the PDO for the Pacific. While the Atlantic is at the end of a warm phase, the Pacific is entering it's cool phase.

While the earth did begin to warm during the 80's and 90's, it has started to cool since the 2000's. Throughout the meteorlogical history of the Earth, we have gone through warming and cooling cycles. Currently the Atlantic is forecasted to be near the end of the warm phase of the Atlantic Multi-Decadal Oscillation (AMO) which pumps relatively warm water further north than normal. This will allow for some tropical and subtropical animals to explore waters where they are not usually found and can cause stress on permanent residents of these waters. The North Paulding Touchdown Club will be hosting it's "Let 'em Play" Car Wash from 9:00 - 1:00 this Saturday 5/15 at Beef O'Brady's on Cedarcrest Rd. The proceeds from this car wash will allow 2 kids whose families have been hit hard by high medical bills this year to play football at Acworth. We will wash your car for a donation or you can just come by and make a donation for this cause.
