HIRAM, GA 30141 770-445-7133 FAX 770-505-7273 Tinney Mrs. Lena “Granny” Tinney, age 89, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. She was born on June 8, 1917 in Trion, GA to the late James and Willie Mae McDonald. She was a member of South Cobb Church of Christ. Surviving are her children, Evelyn Adams of Dallas, Edwin Tinney and his wife, Jackie of Piedmont, AL and Ellen Fincher and her husband, Pat of Dallas; a brother, Glenn McDonald of Lafayette, GA; sisters, Faye McWhorter of Ringgold, GA and Elsie Dean of Lafayette, GA; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Minister Tommy Tidwell and Minister Bobby Gayton officiating. The interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens with Mike Tinney, Mark Tinney, Tim Tinney, Jon Tinney, Casey Camp, Vince McClung and Henry Purdy serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram is in charge of arrangements. Link to post Share on other sites
