HIRAM, GA 30141 770-445-7133 FAX 770-505-7273 Holland Mrs. Ethel Thompson Holland, age 92, of Hiram, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2006. She was born on November 2, 1913 in Flovilla, GA to the late John Thomas and Willie Rebecca Thompson. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, H. Fred Holland and her daughter, Joyce Holland Entrekin. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Holland of Hiram; her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Emory Durham of Douglasville; a brother, Charles Thompson of Mableton; sisters and brother-in-law, Hellon Hooper of Monticello, GA and Florence and Bob Green of Hiram; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great -great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. from Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram with Dr. Tim Walker and Dr. Gil Watson officiating. Mrs. Holland will lie in state at the church for 1 hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram is in charge of arrangements. Link to post Share on other sites
