CNN New bin Laden report: Startling truth or outright lie?

To me, the bottom line on this is that it makes no difference if the Pakistani's helped or were totally upset that we killed Bin Laden.

 

It was equally clear that it played best both in Pakistan and the US that we did the act without their help and that the only folks who would benefit from the official story being a lie.

 

The reporter making the claims, Seymour Hersh, has been at the center of numerous other controversial stories and while his reportage has been commonly rejected by the powers that be, he has been proven correct often enough to not be thrown into the tin-foil hat hell of conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones.
