Near the end of the video you'll hear an adult say tothe children, "This is not good, people." Theconcern was how did someone get that close to theCapitol without being directly, if not violentlychallenged. The Sound Guy
What kind of idiot runs an experimental aircraft right next to a no fly zone? He's gonna get ground up in to little pieces before they are done with him. And as far a challenges, unless they are willing to make the airspace a free fire, shoot on site zone, you are not going to stop stuff like this. And if they did, what happens when the downed aircraft kills 40-50 tourists in the street? Nope. All they can do is fine the carp out of anyone that does something that stupid. CitizenCain
I guess some people take the preservation of our democracy way more seriously than others. His concern for campaign finance reform is something we should all be demanding unless we are content with handing over our government to the highest bidder. The Sound Guy
Yea, I just read that he did it on purpose. While I agree that we need massive campaign and "gift" reforms, does he really, really, think that a stunt like that will make people take him *more* seriously?
gpatt0n
He got more publicity for the issue than anyone save Obama at that SOTU in 2011 (after the Citizens United v. FEC abomination.) The reason is simple. A little bit better than half the money that is raised for campaigns is spent on TV alone (about 60 percent)... and the five major media corporations that reach the majority of Americans (90+ percent) reap 98% of those billions. As such, these media companies celebrate that decision and laugh at us all the way to the bank ... while suppressing most news and information regarding that absurd decision. pubby
