Clark Funeral Home Posted March 15, 2013 Report Share Posted March 15, 2013 Lillian Bolden Crew, 96, of Frog Level Drive, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Crew was born March 6, 1917 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Lee Bolden and Jewel Shockley Bolden. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Arthur Guy Crew and four sisters. She was a seamstress at Carolina Sleepwear for 26 years. She was an avid reader, walker and loved bluegrass music. Mrs. Crew also loved The Young and the Restless. She is survived by her daughter: Frankie Crew Byrd Murff of Roanoke Rapids; three sisters: Katie Benson and Madeline Smith of Dallas, GA, Razlee Reeves of Carrollton, GA; four grandchildren: LaDonna Jenkins and her husband Troy, Kimberly Curley and her husband Joe, DeAnna Pittman and her husband Keith and Dana Neal and her husband Bobby; six great grandchildren: Courtney Gaskill, Lauren Harris, Joshua Curley, Haley Curley, Kendall Pittman and Ashley Pittman, Jr.; three great great grandchildren: Colton Gaskill, Scarlett Harris and Temperance Gaskill; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Sam Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. Herschel Tibbitts officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, GA. Link to post Share on other sites
