Mr. Jerry Lee Brown, age 75, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Kennestone Hospital.

 

 

 

Jerry was born on April 15, 1937 in Tipton, IN to loving parents the late Mr. John C. Brown and Mrs. Marie L. Landseadel Brown. He was also preceded in death by one sister Mrs. Mary Jones and one sister in law Mrs. Priscilla Brown.

 

 

 

Jerry Brown worked as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He enjoyed Genealogy research. Jerry was a member of Dallas 1st United Methodist Church and a volunteer with Helping Hands.

 

 

 

Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years Mrs. Colleen Brown of Dallas, GA; four sons Dr. & Mrs. Douglas L (Mollie G.) Brown of Twinsburg, OH, Mr. & Mrs. Darrell L. (Dora P.) Brown, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis G. (Kim) Brown J.D. all of Kennesaw, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Craig A. (Margaret Ann) Brown B.S. in Computer Science of Stewartstown, PA; nine grandchildren, one great grandson, three brothers Mr. Robert Brown, Mr. Johnny Brown, and Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Mary) Brown all of Tipton, IN; two sisters Ms. Patricia A. Brown of Knoxville, TN, and Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Harriet) Charles of Bedford, IN; several nieces and nephews and many other beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

A memorial service for Mr. Jerry Brown will be held at Dallas 1st United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10 am with Dr. Steve Schofield officiating. Music will include CD selections Who Am I, Beyond the Sunset, Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, and The Lord’s Prayer performed by Doug Brown.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at Dallas 1st United Methodist Church from 9 am until the time of service.

Jerry became an Angel last /early this morning and we will miss him dearly but, the Lord is in control. Our Life on this Earth is temporary and we all shall meet again, one day. It was a pleasure to have worked with Jerry and Colleen, for the last 2 or 3 yrs, they were always putting a smile on our faces. WE LOVE YOU, JERRY!!! Prayers and Love to Colleen and the Family. :wub:
