Clark Funeral Home Posted January 3, 2013 Report Share Posted January 3, 2013 Jim Hardeman, age 67, of Hiram, GA, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013. He was born January 26, 1945 and was preceded in death by his father, Lee Clack; mother & step-father, Marie Chambers & husband, Robert; and wife, LaRue Jenkins Hardeman. Mr. Hardeman was retired from the military, as a Sergeant in the U. S. Army, where he served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons & daughter-in-law, James Dana Hardeman of Louisiana and Dale Hardeman & wife, Jennifer of Dallas, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Carmen LaRue Stanfill & husband, Kip of Douglasville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Barbara Lester & husband, Don of Buchanan, GA and Liz Pendley; grandchildren, Grant Hardeman, Alex Hardeman, Cassandra Stanfill and Kristen Stanfill; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Jeremy Lundy and Brother Grant Hardeman officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends Friday, January 11, 2013, at Clark Funeral Home, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. He will be missed here but I know that he is celebrating in Heaven with his Savior and is now out of pain. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
