Mrs. Mattie Elaine Hall age 68, of Dallas, Georgia passedaway on October 24, 2012 at her residence.

 

 

Mattie was born on February 25, 1944 in Dallas, GA to lovingparents the late Mr. Curtis Venoy Cole and Mrs. Burma Aiken Cole. She was also preceded in death by her belovedhusband Mr. Curtis William Hall who passed away March 28, 2008, and two sistersMrs. Claudie Sweat & Ms. Martha Cole.

 

 

Mrs. Hall worked for Dallas Cleaners. She was of the Baptistfaith. She enjoyed working in hergarden, tending her fish pond, and spending time with her pets.

 

 

She is survived by one daughter Mr. & Mrs. Greg (Terrie)Chastain; one son Mr. & Mrs. Sean (Melissa) Hall; three grandchildren AllenChastain, Eric Chastain, and Emma Hall all of Dallas, GA; three sisters Mr.& Mrs. Harold (Jannette) Thomason of Mableton, GA, Mr. & Mrs. David(Zandra) Jones of Dallas, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Randy (Wynell) Yancey ofCarrollton, GA; many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Hall will be held in theChapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2 pm withthe Reverend Thomas Cole officiating and Mrs. Terrie Chastain speaking. Music will include Beulahland performed byJeff Eberhart & Becky Bearden, and other CD selections Go Rest High,Sissy’s Song, and I Will Always Love You. Greg Chastain, Allen Chastain, Eric Chastain, Sean Hall, Stacy Cole, andMichael Turner will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onThursday, October 25, 2012 from 4 – 9 pm and Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9 amuntil the funeral hour.
