Funeral Services for Mr. Leonard Potts age 87 of Marietta, Ga. formly of Dallas, Ga. will be held on Thursday September 13, 2012 from the Oak Hill Church in Rydal, Ga. with Rev. Hoyt Jones officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Church Cemetery with Dale Huddleston, Tommy Lewis, Greg Nichols, Blake Creek, Kirk Creek, Ken McMichen and Jamie Potts serving as Pall Bearers

 

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday September 12, 2012 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

 

Everyone will meet at Oak Hill Church in Rydal on Thursday for the service. There will be no viewing or procession from the funeral home to the church on Thursday.

Wife: Mrs. Lottie Gay Potts of Marietta, Ga.

 

Daughter: Mr. & Mrs. Charles (Martha Potts) Lewis of Powder Springs, Ga.

 

Son: Mr. & Mrs. Troy Lee (Gail) Potts of Dallas, Ga.

 

Six Grandchildren Nine Great Grandchildren Two Great Great Grandchildren

 

Brother: Mr. Edward Potts of Cartersville, Ga.

 

Sister: Mrs. Lillian Callihan of Gary, Indiana

 

Brother: Mr. & Mrs. Gene (Joan) Potts of PineLog, Ga.

I'm going to miss you. As a child driving down the dirt roads in Burnt Hickory. Making me think your chewing tobacco was chewing gum. So many memories. rest in peace papaw. Till we meet again. What a glorious day that will be!
