Funeral Director Posted September 26, 2011 Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Mr. Lester Andrew "LA" Clark, age 85 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Mr. Clark was born on September 6, 1926, the son of the late Mr. Claud R. Clark and Mrs. Sylvia Ann Fouts Clark. Mr. Clark was self-employed as a farmer and he was an experienced welder. He enjoyed rock hunting and reading.. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Wilma A. Ford Clark of Dallas GA; Six children Gail and Enoch Swinson of Flordia, Harold and Kathy Driskell of Hiram, GA., Fay Barron and fiancé Scott Dooley of Rockmart, GA., David and Lottie Driskell of Dallas, GA. Leslie and Roger Bacon of Yorkville, GA. Mark and Gina Clark of Dallas, GA. One sister Ida Kate Clark of Dallas, GA. One brother Olan and Joy Clark of Dallas, GA. , Sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, beloved family and friends. Mr. Clark is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mr. Claud R. Clark and Mrs. Sylvia Ann Fouts Clark. Three brothers, Mark, Floyd and Henry Clark. One sister, Grace Gant Funeral services for Mr. Lester Andrew "LA" Clark will be conducted on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 2PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. Reverend Tom Mahan will officiate. Music will be provided by Josh Driskell and Jeff Eberhart. Pall bearers will include Greg Driskell, Richard Winn, Charles Clark, Aaron Clark, Joe Clark and Ricky Clark. Interment will follow at Pray's Mill Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are being accepted; however, the family suggests that memorials may be made to Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 4PM to 9PM, and again on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 9 AM until the service begins at 2 PM.
