Rest assured that the HD is the cheapest made possible. HD is the Mcdonalds of products. Radiant barrier is a metalic film installed over your insulation and reflects 97% of the Radiant heat entering through the shingles and rooftops. This keeps this heat up above your insulation and allows this to move out of the vents easier and faster. This keeps your homes heat IN during the winter and OUT during the summer. Mine has a Lifetime warranty and financing this job could allow you to add LED lighting to your home and finance this as well. This together with LEDs can save you between 25%-35% total on your utility bills per month typically. Its mandatory in 7 states already to use in all new build homes.
