Afternoon fire claims one life photocredit: dubious A fire of undetermined origins at 413 Ivy Crest Drive in Dallas claimed one life, Paulding County Fire Department spokesperson Maryann Phipps said today.  Ms. Phipps said that the identity of the person was being withheld until next of kin can be notified. The first began about 3:15 pm this afternoon and spread to an adjacent structure.  The fire at both residents was extinguised by 4:15 by a crew of 21 firefighters from the Paulding County Fire Department.  Ms. Phipps said the cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal who is currently on scene. The Paulding County Sheriff's office reports that other than providing crowd control, they have not been invited into the investigation as preliminary reports are that there was no suspicion of criminal activity the fire.
