One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest Made the list

Recommended Posts

I'm still searching for a complete list of all books that have been challenged and/or banned over the years.

But I was surprised to see so many books that are now considered classics on several lists.

I mean really...The Grapes of Wrath and Of Mice and Men?

Two of my favorites. I never tire of reading them. Steinbeck was one of the greatest writers imho.

His words had a way of making you be able to not only picture what he was describing, but to feel, see, and yes, even taste it.

I remember reading "The Pearl" when I was about 11 or 12 and just bugging the local librarian until she would let me rent all the others.

More to come on that subject but tell me, what banned book have you read?

Yup. A lot of the banned books were required reading in High School.
