Mama Carol
So, I'm sitting at the traffic light at Westside and CH James, by the railyard. There was YET another overturned truck. I think that is the fourth one I've seen this summer and I don't go that way but maybe once a week! People were actually STOPPING at the green light to look at it. The tractor was already gone and the wrecker was getting ready to upright the trailer. The only flashing emergency lights were on the two Austell police cars. But come on, people. You've seen this before! Move on. And please, whatever you do, don't look at the accident to your left while talking on your cell phone. One of you almost took me out! Thank you. That is all. For now.
Georgia Dawg
Too bad they don't have a "cloak of invisibility" to put around wrecks to keep people from slowing down and causing rubber neckin' slowdowns.
Mama Carol
I know when the teens were killed in the accident just up the street from my mom, the police did put up something to keep people from viewing the wreckage. That was an extreme case but it would help in less extreme accidents, too. In this one today, it didn't appear as though anyone was hurt. Too bad they don't have a "cloak of invisibility" to put around wrecks to keep people from slowing down and causing rubber neckin' slowdowns.
