+subby1
Just call this a favor to you great folks, regarding your mowers. Spring is around the corner. For one thing, if it's not too late....if you have not drained the gas from your mower, then do NOT let it sit out in freezing temps. The 10% ethanol allow a small percentage of moisture to build up in the carb....just enough in some cases to CRACK the carb. New carbs are not cheap!!! So, it you have any gas in it, leave it inside so it won't freeze. And as always, use a good stabilizer in all the gas you store!! Gasoline shelf life for mowers is pitifully short....2-3 months. The ehtanol causes this problem, and the only answer I have had success with is "Stabil". I have used this for years. My OLD weedeater worked like new..only replaced he fuel line when it cracked and dry rotted. You can save yourself so much money if you just do a few of these thing to your equipment. I know would say I am shooting myself in the foot by tossing out a hint or two, but this is community. I am HAPPY to fix your machines, but it's always in your own best interest to just maintain them, follow these hints. And of course, some don't and those who do all know that "crap still happens"...so, I am here for you!! Thanks folks! Glenn 678-315-8794
