Clark Funeral Home Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Glenn W. Puckett, age 87, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009. He was born September 4, 1922, in Cherokee County, GA and was preceded in death by, his parents, Virgil & Ollie Puckett, his first wife, Kate Camp Puckett, and wife, Catherine Puckett. Mr. Puckett was retired from Austell Box Board after 35 years, as Vice President and General Manager. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons & daughter-in-law, Roger Puckett of Powder Springs, GA and Keith & Debbie Puckett of Dallas, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Judy Hames of Fayetteville, GA and Kaye & Sam McChesney of Marietta, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Bobbie Jean & Johnny Shaw of Lithia Springs,GA, Carolyn McMichen of Acworth, GA and Frances & A. W. Scroggins of White, GA; granddaughter, Emily Puckett; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 5, 2009, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
