Clark Funeral Home Posted September 3, 2009 Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 John Robert Clark, age 100, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009. He was born October 27, 1908 in Hempfield Township, PA, the son of the late, Benjamin & Mina Fry Clark. Mr. Clark was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from the U. S. Post Office and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ann Sophia Clark; son & daughter-in-law, Barry & Kathy Clark of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Jeremy Clark, Jonathon Clark and Barrie Ann Clark; great-grandchild, William Daniel Clark. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM, from Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, from 10:00 AM until the service time.
