Mr. Richard Wayne Thompson age 61 of Villa Rica, Ga. Passed away on July 9, 2009. Mr. Thompson was born on October 22, 1947 in Marshall Co. Alabama to the late Mr. Richard Bain Thompson and the late Mrs. Lela Lorraine Romains Thompson. Mr. Thompson was married to Mrs. Margaret Joan Richey Thompson for 39 Years. Mr. Thompson was a Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Thompson was a Diesel Mechanic.

 

Services will be held on Sunday July 12, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Benson Funeral Home with the Rev. Carey Moody officiating, Interment will follow in the Melrose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Thompson's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday July 11, 2009 from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.

Grandchildren: Codi Allan Sellers, Austin Trey Sellers, Christopher Allen Sellers, Savannah Nicole Sellers, Constance Olivia Thompson Brothers: Mr. Billy Joe Thompson of Alabama, Mr. Randy Ray Thompson of Tennessee, Mr. Roger Dean Thompson of Florida Sisters: Mrs. Brenda Joyce Hollis of Albertville, Al.
