Clark Funeral Home Posted September 19, 2008 Report Share Posted September 19, 2008 Sharon Elaine Tibbitts, age 57, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008. She was born on June 6, 1951, in Ringgold, and was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ernest Godfrey & Frances Lorene Godfrey. Mrs. Tibbitts was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Mark Tibbitts; sons & daughters-in-law, Scott & Michelle Brinkley of Dallas, and David & Angela Brinkley of Dallas; daughters & sons-in-law, Melissa & William White of Dallas, and Alicia & James Marshall of Rockmart; brother & sister-in-law, Jeff & Robbie Godfrey of Savannah; sister & brother-in-law, Brenda & Claude Smith of Acworth; and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008, at 3:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
