Clark Funeral Home Posted August 23, 2008 Report Share Posted August 23, 2008 Michael Salvatore Astuto, age 51, of Rockmart, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2008. He was born on September 19, 1956 in Omaha, N.E. Mr. Astuto was a veteran of the Air Force and worked as an electronic specialist at the Federal Aviation for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Dallas. He loved to travel to Europe and around the world with his wife. He was preceded in death by his father, Venerino Salvatore Astuto; sister, Maria Astuto; brothers, Marc Astuto and Mario Astuto. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Deloris Marie Groves & George Allen Groves of St. Anthony, Indiana; wife, Kathy Astuto of Rockmart; sons, Mike Astuto of Douglasville, Dave Astuto of Trezevant, Tenn., Chris Astuto of Trezevant, Tenn., Jeremy Astuto of Acworth and Johnny Klaus of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua & Mandy Marisko of Woodstock and Matthew & Jennifer Marisko of Dallas; daughter, Kathleen Marisko of Douglasville; stepbrothers, Tim Norris and Ed Groves; stepsister, Peggy Rossetter; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 12:00 p.m., from St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Dallas with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Link to post Share on other sites
