Clark Funeral Home Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 James Herbert Fannin, age 84, of Hiram, passed away on July 18, 2008. He was born on March 24, 1924 in Hiram, GA to the late John & Mary Fannin. Mr. Fannin was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Army, and he was a retired building contractor. Surviving are his wife, Flossie Fannin of Hiram; sons, Lamar Fannin of Hiram, Jerry Fannin of Douglasville, and Joe Fannin of Dallas; son & daughter-in-law, Bill & Heather Fannin of Hiram; daughters & sons-in-law, Kay & Eddie Barker of Hiram and Bonnie & Tim White of Temple; sister, Tellie Kitchens of Douglasville; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 11:00am from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, with Rev. Rickey Bice officiating. The interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July, 20, 2008 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
