Funeral Director Posted May 26, 2008 Report Share Posted May 26, 2008 Mrs. Marcelle McClure, age 76 of Dallas, Ga. passed away May 24, 2008 at Heartland Hospice House in Austell, Ga. A seamstress she was a member and past president of the Paulding County Lions Club she was also a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dallas. Mrs. McClure sewed patches made alterations to the uniforms for the JROTC of Paulding County High School. She was born to the late Joseph "Joe" Dirk Westbrook and Thelma Wigley Westbrook. She was preceded in death by her parents "Joe" and Thelma Westbrook, her husband Clifford "Sonny" McClure and her son Ricky McClure. Mrs. McClure is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: John and Angie McClure of Dallas, Ga., special friend Melaine and Ronald Culver of Dallas, Ga., son and daughter-in-law Tony and Cindy McClure of Dallas, Ga., daughter Laure and Frank Thomas of Ellijay, Ga., two brothers Joe and Sandra Westbrook of Hiram, Ga., and Van and Cherry Westbrook of Dallas, Ga., Sister Viola Heimanson of Dallas, Ga., eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home chapel with the Dr. Johnny Turner officiating. Special music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Johnny Turner. Internment will follow in the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 27, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home.
