FreeBird
The different types of jobs that a DPS worker faces every day always interet me. I thought I'd share this piece from the Cobb fire department. New oxygen masks help save pup after house fire A donation of new medical equipment to Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services came just in time to help save a small dog named Max. Cobb County Animal Control recently gave the department 52 animal recovery oxygen masks purchased with donations received from county residents and organizations. On Tuesday, March 18, units responded to a house fire off of Piedmont Road and Bells Ferry Road in northeast Cobb. Firefighters found heavy fire in the kitchen and living room area of the house with extension into the attic space. During the blaze, firefighters found a small dog that had been overcome with smoke in the living room. They took Max out and administered oxygen using the new animal masks. The dog’s condition improved and animal control took him to an emergency veterinarian for further treatment. The veterinarian reported that Max was doing well and he was reclaimed by his owner the next day, officials said.

Med464rescue
Wonder how much these mask are and how to go about getting them for Paulding Fire departments. I believe this is something that would have to be done in cohorts with the paulding humane society and the fire department. funds would have to be raised of course to support that. I think it would be a good thing though. meltid or joflo could prob. give better insight on this issue
