Clark Funeral Home Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 (edited) Annie Bell McMichen, age 93, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. A native of Paulding County, she was born February 27, 1914. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Freeman, second husband, E. N. “Hoke” McMichen, parents, Robert “Bob” Washington Mitchell & Cynthia Harriett Mitchell, and step-son, Charles McMichen. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Lois Horne & husband, Cecil of Dallas and Gayle Earwood & husband Jimmy of Dallas; brother & sister-in-law, Barnard Mitchell & wife Eunice of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Gene Horne, Debbie Bragg, David Horne and Chad Earwood; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24, 2007, at 11:00 am, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend J. T. Hollingshed and Reverend Clyde Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. Russell Paris, Jimmy Earwood, Allan Freeman, Harold Freeman, Larry Mitchell and Morris Christian will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3147 Atlanta Highway, Dallas, GA 30132. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
