Accident hwy 278 near Hulsey Town

Just came from Dallas to Yorkville saw the bird at the hospital then came upon what must have been a really bad accident traffic was being detoured there was also a couple of minor accidents just befor the big one with a log truck in median and small car way off the west bound lane to wood line. Has anyone heard anything? There was no way to know what happened due to the S.O. blocking the road

and detouring the traffic. Hope everyone comes out ok.

i heard their was an entrapment,2 people were in the vehicle...........

battalion and rescue , clarks , and officers responded, ...............ladder 1 was sent to the hospital to secure the landing zone

I came by there about 3:00...all I saw was a silver beamer in the ditch. The SO was there with a woman, nobody looked hurt though..cept the beamer.

On the way home from work, I heard that the wreck at 278 and Wayside Lane had finally been cleared. I'm not sure if that's the say one or not.

It seemed to be one bad accident west of the minor accident. The minor one may have been caused by the bad one or visa versa. All I know for sure is that the S.O. was making everyone detour at Wayside and come out on either Hulsey Town or the Western end of Wayside and the bad accident site could not be seen from the detour that is except for all the fire trucks rescue and S.O. vehicles with their lights all going.
