MVA with injuries - station 9 & Clark

rescue 9 responding to overturned Ford Explorer. Station unmanned

 

R9 requesting secondary engine be toned.

 

3410 en route.

R9 on scene - reports three vehicles involved - one with heavy damage, overturned in a yard.

 

Two Clark units en route - med 1 is one unit.

 

R9 to engine 2 - do you have two on board? no - only one - E2 on scene.

Clark med 1 requests patient update from rescue 9 - R9 must be having radio problems....

engine 2 - one patient/female involved in roll-over - stable - preparing to package

i just heard them arrive - this accident must be right outside my subdivision.

I got on a phone call and didn't catch anything further on this one.

It was a pretty impressive wreck, I figured somebody in the Explorer could have died. The road was closed between Brownsville Extension and Burnt Hickory Rd / Pine Valley Rd for over an hour.

 

I'll guess that the wreck happened when someone attempted to turn left onto Brownsville Rd from Brownsville Extension; I've had a few close calls from people pulling out in front of me.
