You might think that the daring duo would leave well enough alone - no one threw anything at anyone at the commission meeting Tuesday - but our three gorgeous hunks of host find that singing is not their talent ... at least to begin. Published on May 8, 2015 Patti was our host for a special 'on location' edition of the Pat and Patti Show right smack in the middle of accident potential zone B as some of the air show participants practiced. Pubby, as always, was supportive even as Patti found herself traumatized by the high-powered military jets attending. Still, insects posed the greatest danger as Patti reacted to a bumble bee and Deena reported she was ticked off at the tick that landed on her arm. We have some fun starting with a lecture, I mean Pat and Patti Show Editorial by none other than Mrnn ... quite informative ... followed by the most notable insults from the BOC meeting (and commentary)... After that, if we had the skills, we'd have staged it as a dream sequence but let it suffice, it was a tin-foil fantasy capable of covering even pubby's bald knob. Yes, Patti and Deena imagine a new Paulding, a great Paulding, a Paulding reaching to the sky and one that solves all the problems by throwing great gobs of money at it on the belief that if you build it, it will come.

This installment of the Pat and Pattie Show puts the headliners in conflict over the Richland Creek Reservoir after Patti reads a (letter to the editor) editorial from resident Glenda Lynch, who opposes the development. The discussion also touches on the current 'airport' controversy - are the three post commissioners opposing the airshow or not ... and why? Other bits touch on an editorial about home-made lunches and a rarely seen archive video from a 2008 election speech that promised $2.00/gallon gasoline. UPDATED: In show #303 we discuss the horrific news that 32 residents have died from overdoses of opiates in the last year including a piece that explores hopeful developments. We also discuss briefly the fact that the county is being sued in federal court in the death of Danny Hammett during a drug raid in 2012. We make a few announcements as well as explain why we are doing this. The update is to add a cocledoodledo over the "cs" comments... which I intended to do from the get go.
