    Thanks everyone. I will get three quotes and go from there! I like to use local business if at all possible. So it is nice to see Heath Flooring is in Paulding. I do want real hardwood. I had laminate in our first house and didn't like it.

    Does anyone have anywhere they would recommend me to purchase some hardwood flooring? I want to get a quote on supplies. I think I might be able to save some dough if I get a friend of a friend to do the install and I pick up the supplies. Home Depot has an outrageous charge on install!

    Try using the swimming noodles - cut one side and slip them onto the furniture. You can then tape them to each other so it does not ruin your furniture

    We don't have a traditional coffee table. We have a leather ottoman. We also don't have any issues with her knocking off the TV. I do however have issue with her brother's wooden toy box that she fell onto the corner of last night. Removing it is not an option:-)

     

    I am not familiar with pipe insulation. I guess I could check it out on Home Depot's website.

    I have an 18 month old who is still clumsy with her walking. She has a fresh bruise under her eye this AM to prove it. I need to get some furniture corner guards. Does anyone have any tips? I don't want to break the bank but want to get something that I could take with us to the condo in Florida in a couple of weeks.

    Isn't it going to be at the corner of bill carruth and 278 ? if so, they are grading it flat now.

     

    I thought it was going to be behind the new Paulding Physician's Center on Bill Carruth too. I was wondering when construction was going to start. We need a new hospital out here.

    Snake be Gone

    We have found 3 baby snakes in our back yard close to our house and I have two little ones and a dog. We are constantly in our back yard since it is fenced in. Can someone tell me how to keep us all safe this time of year? I know we can't use Serpent B Gone because it could kill my kids and my dog. Help. This is creeping me out. Also, is there a mother snake near by?

    Thanks everyone for the great advice and no I wouldn't give her a bottle of sugar water. I flipped when someone suggested I put cairo syrup on her pacifier to occupy her while I was busy. I will say that there was a time that we had to take her to Scottish Rite ER and they gave her some sugar water on her pacifier when they had to run a tube up her nose. It did work wonders:-)
