yeah, I did the google thing. I was just wondering if anyone has driven it.
Have sent trucks there on many occassions. My drivers hate that run. I have never drove it myself.

What in the world would take you there? It is nothing but country, I mean country. It is about a 5 1/2 hour drive straight down I-20. My daughter (step-daughter) who I have had since she was three, well her mother lived there. She died in a car wreck 3 years ago and we went to the funeral there. It is not a place I would want to live in or visit.

No, there is actually a town called Sumter east of Columbia. The fort is in Charleston, named for the same person, though.

As in Ft. Sumter? I'm pretty sure my parents dragged me there when I was younger...sorry, all the historical battlefields eventually become one big blur.
