RIP, Gage. I remember your smile and laughter from when you were in Scouts with my son.
Condolences to Benny, Salice and the rest of the family.

Oak Landing? There are two parts of it, one on left side, one on right. They are by the fire station.

The first ... political affiliation shows that Pcom's audience is actually largely independent. pubby
How did you determine that? Is there a political affiliation field I am not seeing in the profiles?

Is this the same young man that was involved in the death of the young man found by the dumpster at the Dollar General in Douglasville?
Yes it is

We did too, but haven't made it up there yet.

Greek salad at Mellow Mushroom. Doesn't beat the one at Marietta Diner, but it's a lot closer!

Different people learn different ways. My son did it on his own via the computer. There is free practice on the SAT registration site. He also got a book at Barnes and Noble which had a CD. He did fine working that way. I'm sorry I can't recommend in-person teaching approaches. Good luck!

That's it! Thanks!!!I kept thinking Matt Damon...it was Ben Affleck in it instead, with Russell Crowe. Thanks again!

I'm updating a Netflix list and cannot remember a movie title I want to add. I also can't recall who is in it, so I need some help.
The movie premise is there is a political aid (young actress with redish hair) who knows too much and is killed. She's killed in one area in the entire city with no security cameras. The congressman/senator/whomever she is an aid for knows why she was killed but covers it up. It came out in the last couple years. Would appreciate any input with someone with better brain power than me today! TIA

In my house, we love bread. Will you have fresh baked bread? And if so, what kinds?
((Best of luck to you!!))

fyi...Keebler Grasshopper cookies taste just like a Thin Mint. Something to keep in mind when your freezer reserve is empty and cookie sales are months away....

I've seen this dog there for almost a week. After a few days of waiting for the owner to claim it, I called the DOT Thursday for pickup. I was told their trucks are grounded for this type of thing due to the gas situation.

We had thought after last Christmas the frenzy would die down and Nintendo would release more consoles than they have been. Apparently, that's still not the case and the arrival in stores seems to be limited, and the ability to purchase one is hit or miss. Here is some information I learned in our (successful!!) search and thought I'd pass along to you, in case you're starting out on the adventure or know you may have to with the holiday season approaching.
No stores EVER know ahead of time if they will be receiving any. From calling so many different places, it does seem the most common delivery dates are Saturday and Sunday.
-Toys R Us - three different stores told me their shipments come in on the weekend but they don't know ahead of time if they will get them in that week. Try calling them when the stores open
-Best Buy - call them when their stores open
-Walmart - got different info from different stores. One said they get shipments between 10:30am and 1pm. Another told me the shipments get there when they get there (yea, that was helpful!!! ). Random calls are suggested. Good luck!
-Target - appear to rarely have consoles available. The tip I learned from the friendly electronic department folks there is to get the Sunday paper on Saturday evening....and if their ad has the Wiis listed, then they'll have them on Sunday morning.
We actually didn't search long...less than a week. Hope it's as easy for you. Happy hunting!!

We used them a few weeks ago ourselves. Love them, would use them again and DEFINITELY recommend them!!

It's been hot out and even hotter in our house due to a blown a/c motor and clogged coils, but we're most content now thanks to the great guys at M&M Heating & Cooling. If ya'll haven't tried them...and ever need them...they're AWESOME! Found them here on paulding.com and they are terrific!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, all! These are great ideas! I'm torn now in all directions based on your input, so we may have to take several weekends and do them all.
Thanks again!!!

We are looking for places to go for a weekend-getaway and are stuck in rut with Gatlinburg, Jeckyll Island, etc. Done the Chateau Elan and Biltmore thing, too. We would like to go somewhere kind of quiet..but not boring. Need a few things around to do! Any recommendations within 5 or so hours of here???
Appreciate the ideas!!

Don't plan on seeing any movies in the next week or so...but I did go to seethemovies.com and I clicked on "Contact Us" and filled out the form thanking them for their support of the shelter!
Just takes a minute, folks!
