My beautiful puppy Lola got spayed, microchipped, and had her dewclaws removed yesterday. So now she's moping around the house with a giant cone on her head and bandages with socks covering her hind legs.
A few people wanted me to post a pic last night and my phone wouldn't send it. I finally found it in my inbox this morning, so here it is:
I have Lola's sister and I need to get her spayed and I am not looking forward to it!!
I am hoping it will calm her down a little though.

I was also with Ga Natural and I changed 6 months ago to Gas South. I am changing back to GA Natural, Gas South has a lot of fees that were not explained to me, and if I had known I would have never switched. Never had a problem with GA Natural I was just trying to save money. JMOO
I am glad you told me that because that is who I was thinking about switching to. I haven't had a problem with GNG either I am just trying to pinch the pennies, it may not be worth it though. Thanks for the post.

We have been with Ga Natural Gas for 7 years now and I was wondering if there were any better prices out there. My Price Plan is almost up so I was wondering about other companies. Let me know who you use, if you like them and if you have EVER had any problems with their service.

How is the puppy doing? I am going to be dog sitting for one of the puppies next week for Tide Girl. I can't wait. Do you have any pics? Oh and we had to keep one of the black males here is a pic
She is doing good....she is still having accidents (tinkling) in the house every once in awhile and she is definitely a chewer. She has chewed several pairs of the girls shoes, a cordless phone charger, and the cord to the kids steering wheel for their video games. You gotta love having a puppy in the house again but we love her and just looking at that face makes you forgive her. Here is two pictures of her and my other dog. I will try to get another picture of her playing so you can see how big she has gotten. Took her to the vet today for her 3rd set of shots and she weights 18 lbs. She has gained 6 lbs every two/three weeks.

I am assuming that you mean TLC, they are located near the Dallas hospital. Their number is 770-445-2698. My dog has been to many groomers and this one was recommend by another PCOM person.
I have taken her 3 times and everytime she leaves TLC she thinks she is the bomb. When I would pick her up from other places, she always acted like she had been traumatized. So, for us to have a place where we can drop her off and know that she will be happy is really a good thing. (She's an old dog...)

Royal Pet Resort is the only place I'll take my girls! They are the best!!My mom will only take her dog there but their prices where a little high for me but I guess if it means treating my dog right then I will pay a higher price.

Well, aren't you quite the little sassy pants~ as I stated earlier "I'm not saying that it was right"...were you there? You are stating that he (husband) went back and they said that they called 3 numbers and no one answered...then they asked his name to verify the information. So you assume they lied? Why do you assume that? Seems to be alot of assumptions. The way your tell your story, it was the same girl/boy that was being delt with.
Maybe the scenerio played out as he went to girl #1 (who is just running the computer, for example)...then went up front and paid. Well, while he was upfront, girl #1 said something to girl #2, so when he got back girl #2 took care of him and didn't know the name, or wanted the name to look it up in the computer. I deal with people DAILY, and I can be talking to them, they leave, come back and I forget them name.
We weren't there and you are being very fast to say they are lying, based on what someone is telling you. They may not be the best, or may have screwed up, or whatever...I just feel you are going a little overboard based on they didn't call you (which could have been thier fault, or based on an error).

I was there one day years ago and saw a groomer smacking a little dog with a comb:....right in front of the entire store. I decided right then and there NEVER to trust my animals with them. We use TLC. They are very kind.

I think you need to sit down and calm down. Dang, you've been going there montly, for 2 years and because they didn't call you one time you are PO'd? I'm not saying it was right, but, they are going through LOTS of changes trying to make things better and alot of the grooming staff has changed as well.
I'm sorry but did you have any helpful information to add? Their changes are NOT my problem and seems that maybe things need to go back to the way they were because their "changes" aren't working if their employees aren't doing their job. If I had not called I wonder at what point they would have FINALLY called me.
But it sounds like it isn't changing for the better. They didn't call ... then they seem to have lied about it ... and they possibly even didn't realize which dog was hers. I'd be rather annoyed, too. But then again, I've never felt very highly about Petsmart grooming (or training) as a whole anyway.Thank you....I now feel the same way as you.

I have been taking my dog to Petsmart to get a bath, nails clipped and ears cleaned for the last two years. Well I take him for his monthly appointment yesterday and we drop him off at 10:00 as usual. Well around 4:00 we still had not heard from them so I call to see if he is ready and they tell me yes. When my husband gets there he asks why we were never called to come and get him and they said they didn't know. He goes up front and pays goes back to get him and they tell him they had 3 numbers that they called and no one answered. My husband asks what numbers they called to confirm them and they look at him and say..."what is your name again?".
So anyway it is safe we won't be back there, so where can I take my dogs to be groomed once a month that won't cost me an arm and leg?Sorry to ramble but I am still a little upset with them.

My husband attended this ride and had a blast. He almost won the best hand but lost it in the end but he had a great time and enjoyed riding his bike and hanging with his friends.

If you live out here in my area (New Hope) then our school (Northside Elementary) takes newspapers and magazines that we recycle for $. I had also had those same concerns over Spring Break so I did a little research and found a company called G.T. Recycling and they take everything. We can now recycle our glass, plastic, styrofoam and paper. Prices I thought were really good and they brought me a container and pick up at my curb once a week. That was GREAT!! I can hear you in the background saying "they got it from their mama!". It looks and sounds like everyone had a great time. It was great catching up with you yesterday! I sure do miss ya'll....we will need to do that again sometime soon.

My oldest got her picture made with him and was so excited because she got to touch his hand. He was really nice and was truly touched at the all the pictures and items the kids had done to prepare for his arrival. He brought his father along with him and they were both truly down to earth and very kind. A memory my kids will always remember.

My name is Nicole Olschewske and I live in the Dallas/Burnt Hickory area. I wanted to let you know that I am a current competitor on Atlanta's Biggest Loser "Moms Edition"(brown team). I have not really asked for support thus far, as I have managed to stay out of the bottom 2 the last 3 weigh ins! Each weigh in the bottom 2 are up for elimination and need online votes to stay in the game. I am very involved in the county being a school bus driver out of Burnt Hickory/ Mcclure, a coach of 7 years at West Metro Soccer Club,the Partner Program Coordinator for Burnt Hickory Elementary and have been room Mom for my kids for several years at Northside and Burnt Hickory. I also attend, volunteer and work at West Ridge Church in Dallas. There are only 3 of us left on the Brown team so next weigh in on April 8th (which will air on Atlanta& Company at 11am) 2 of us will be in the bottom and will need online votes to stay in!
