  1. My condolences to the family...My daughter went to prek with Christiana and they played together alot. Noreen was always there to volunteer and spend time with all the kids. I will always remember the fun times that we shared during that year. May God surround this family in his loving arms as they cope with this tragic loss.

  2. Wow...alot of native Mariettans here! I lived in the old Marietta Place apartments (on Clay Street) till I was 11. Then we bought a house off the square...I went to Pine Forest Elementary as well as Marietta Jr High and High School. I remember

all the ball games at Perry Parham Ballpark, shopping at the GEX, McClellans on the square, and yes the Park on the Square when it was actually a playground. It was the best place for summer picnics with all the big shade trees....why do they mess things up!

    Great Memories!

  3. Prayers for you and your husband. You will make it through this, though it will be hard. It took my husband and I

9 years before we had our first...his sister came two years later...we now have a healthy 12 and 10 y.o.

I spent alot of time devastated and depressed beyond belief..but things do happen for a reason...God will let you know when the time is right! Just Believe In HIM! God Bless!

  4. Thanks for all your prayers.....The doctor's gave us a grim report yesterday that she would not make it through the day.

Ha! Today she sat up some and talked, also ate a little. Grandmother was transported to Tranquility House this afternoon.

God has a place for her in heaven...but not she's not done here yet!

Please keep her in your prayers! God Bless you all!

  5. Please pray for my Grandmother....She was diagnosed with a massive abdominal tumor this weekend and it is inoperable.

To do a biopsy is too dangerous being that it is entwined in her organs....I pray that she does not endure the pain that she has gone through the last few days any longer than necessary. I know it is just a matter of time but may the good Lord

keep her in his care and help my Mom and the rest of the family pull through.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!

    God Bless!

  6. I used to give to the Kidney Fund regularly ( they did pick-ups at my old house). We moved to a subdivision off Nebo road

four years ago and it is still not on Mapquest.....therefore the Kidney Fund truck will not come to pick up....I called and spoke with someone and this is what I was told. I even gave them detailed directions which are not difficult...but to no avail. I told the lady I would be donating my items to another charity from here on....(still no change in decision!!!) I hate it! -_-
