  2. Sorry but I know her "personally" as well and she is not "nice" nor does she have a true grasp of the issues. She is a total embarrassment to Paulding, but hey what else is new.

Of course GA is the laughing stock of the US right now with who we elected as Governor...hmmm....one choice ethics issues and the other had already been kicked to the curb previously. We were going to be an embarrassment no matter which one was elected.

Amen sista! She will be the new Cynthia McKinney!

  4. What about a hospital for the preemie babies? My daughter was a preemie and she loved her little beanie. It was just about as big as her, but the nurses say the babies like to snuggle with them- like a security blanket while they are in the incubator and can't be close to their mommy.

  5. With divinity --you have the sugar and Karo syrup to boil 1st. Once that is boiling, you have to hold up the spoon and wait till the mixture strings-- looks like flyaway hair in the wind. I have a bowl of water. I drop some of the mixture in it and smoosh it with my fingers to make it stick together. If it doesn't stick together it isn't ready. Once it sticks together, you hit it on the side of the bowl. Once you hear it clink, the mixture is ready. If it makes no sound it is not ready. The rest is just following the traditional recipe. Makes perfect divinity every time!!!

  6. So, I tell him to look in the medicine cabinet to get the needle (I keep it there b/c it's so small), and he says, "You do know I need a sewing needle." I'm like, "Darn, all I have in there are the heroine needles. " :glare:

OMG I just inhaled the reese cup I was eating I was laughing so hard.

    BTW love the avatar!

  7. I'm glad you think it's funny- the girls put in alot of time each week making those signs. Too bad it rained this week and it ripped.

    Go Raiders!

    sorry but it was!

you have to laugh at things like this in life. Life has enough things to "really" be upset about. C'mon it is a sign. Nobody will even remember it by next week. :D

  8. It was just an odd night last night from the time that the cheerleaders sign broke before the team ran thru it to the very end everything just seemed off. Don't know if it was the rain or what.

that was funny to me when the sign broke. I know that is bad, but I always laugh at things like that.

  9. She was a graduate of OHS class of '88 and has a sister, two years younger.

Please pray and keep them all in your thoughts.

The 6 yr. old was scheduled to be released from the hospital this afternoon to be with his father.

Everyone is still in shock, yet remains optimistic and positive regarding the 9 yr. old's recovery.

From what I understand the surgery this morning went well to relieve the pressure and improve his vitals.

Nothing else is yet known, as he remains unconscience since the accident.

An overwhelming, outpouring of love and support... countless number of emails every which way of friends and strangers

offering to help in whatever way possible just makes my heart swell and keeps ME positive in knowing that there is so much "good" out there in such a skeptical and critical world.

God Bless you all for truly caring and continuing to pray.

My part is just as yours, worrying, caring and keeping the Faith!

    Payers sent for you too!

  10. Another poster did mention she was an alumni of Osborne HS class of 88 (I think).

Please continue prayers for this family. I know all of our hearts are heavy about this situation. Just remember, tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Hug the ones you love tightly every chance you get!

If I get any updates that I am able to share, I will. Right now, I know one thing that is needed. Prayer is needed. It is free and can make a miracle happen.

Thanks for the info-- I probably knew her then. I'll keep the family in my prayers. Please keep us updated and when the time is right let us know about arrangements. God knows the family and their needs and that is what really matters. He'll get my prayers where they need to go.
