I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family. He was my neighbor when I was a little girl.

He lived in my subdivision and taught both of my kids in art as well when they were younger. I drove past his house the morning the GBI, PC and other vehicles were there searching his home back in the Spring. I'm finally glad it has come out about what he did and why they were there that morning. There are several kids in our subdivision that talked to him all of the time and I can actually say I would have never suspected him of this..but it does make me sick knowing that this happened and how he was a teacher and around so many young children.
He is not living in the house, he recently came back and moved out. It said in the article that he was in South Carolina.

Do you still have the bedroom furniture?

Iron Horse Grill in Villa Rica (i guess it could possibly be Douglasville) on 78 has the best ribs. I haven't had a bad meal or service there yet. Route 61's food is usually good if you can ever get service there.

We used to have Carroll EMC where we lived and a dog probably peed on the pole (They service the Villa Rica area). Our power was out all the time when we were on their power system. We've lived in our house for 10 years and our power has only been out once that I can remember for a period time. Every 3-4 months our power was out when we were in Villa Rica.

This is so sad to read...Your family is my thoughts and prayers.

I might be interested in the patio set or the home decor...Can we take a peak or can you post some pictures? I want to redecorate but I'm on a budget and redecorating can be expensive.

DJ, heavy h'dourves and the company of many (hopefully) that you haven't seen in years! We are trying to pull together a CD of old pictures from high school. If you have any send the jpeg file to pchs_88@yahoo.com.

Yes....One was never planned last year, but is in the works now! We had to be different!
-
That was what I was thinking...why would you have to spend half the price on something like that.
We will be using it for games, regular cable tv and movies. No Blueray yet though.

The question is "what is going to be your main source media"? If the answer is Blu_Ray, then get one that has 1080p resolution. If no BluRay in the next several years then go with a 720P/1080i to save the money as they are older technolgy and cheaper. Some providers (at least DirecTv) has 'some' 1080p programming but not much and they all compress the signal so you get less resolution.
Does it have to mounted on the wall (probably not except for cool factor)? If it does not have to be wall mounted then do not just bypass the DLP TVs without at least considering size vs cost of these. How dark is your room? From lightest to darkest room go DLP>LCD>Plasma.
Consider keeping about $350 in your budget to have whatever you buy calibrated in about 100-200 hours of use, makes a huge difference. If you choose to calibrate, hire someone ISF certified, not a big box dream team.
Why would I Have to have it calibrated?? Thats a new one on me...

We are getting ready to buy a flat screen TV and keep getting different things told to us at the different retail stores.
I'm looking for honest opinions on what is best 780 or 1080 DPI and brand.
Thanks for anything you can tell me!

Same here, that rain scared me for a minute with the way it was coming down sideways here in New Ga.

We live in the New Georgia area and saw marble size hail but there was a lot of it. Sounded like it was going to break our window in the basement it was hitting so hard. My son just made himself sick worrying about the weather.

Its starting to get real dark here in New Georgia area.

My son is right next to me freaking out and we live on the southside of the county. He is so wigged out by storms...I'm trying to tell him that until I tell him to go to the basement there is nothing to worry about. What's it doing on the north side of the county?

I think you might be thinking Johnny Cash...?

Several times over last year and this year, our home alarm will go off in the middle of night. It always seems to be around the same time 2:40a.m. When we check the keypad it will say "trouble" ... which means a disruption in service (none of the #s will light up that are associated with certain points around the house.) We have called comcast to check the phone lines b/c we have the internet/cable/phone package with them. They have found nothing wrong with it. ADT says there's nothing wrong with the system (they had us set off the system deliberately).
So what gives? It really stinks to wake to such as sound. I'm glad it is nothing ... still ... we just want the issue fixed. Any ideas?
Our does this too....last night in fact! I thought maybe the phone went out or something
-
Maybe they were trying to figure out if you a quick thinker and could make quick decisions when needed!
Not sure of that but that would be my guess. Most managers need to have those skills.

I'll have to second, third, or forth or whatever number Sticky Fingers. ANytime we play baseball near Chattanooga, we make it a point to go there for dinner. Their ribs are awesome!
