Ok, this is what I have decided. I don't trust these people. If they aren't being perverted, then they are looking for someone to tell on to get someone in trouble. IF my son had been in trouble before, and IF my son had been accused of doing something wrong before, then maybe I wouldn't have gotten worried. I will not confront these people. I have talked to the neighbor briefly before once or twice. Can't really figure them out, but don't really want too either. They have lived here for about 2 years or so, and we have been here for 16. I have been informed that I have a neighbor that has been secretly video recording my son while he is outside playing with his friends. I am worried that something perverted might be happening. My son is only 12, and I have seen plenty of shows about what people can do with pictures and tapes. I have a daughter who is only 11 and I worry about her too. Am I worrying for no reason, or should I do something about it?

Did anybody ever find out the REBUILD cost? The state is taking our home next year, and I really would like to know this number before they hit me with the offer.

Like I stated earlier, I understand the reasons behind having to buy my land, I was just worried now since my home value per tax assessor is below what I currently owe. I have nothing outstanding, and only one mortgage, so I don't even have a second mortgage nor tax liens, etc. pending on this property. I have had this land for 17 years, and I am more than willing to sell, I just want to make sure that I have enough when it's over to buy a new home.

I am really hoping that I don't have an issue, but seeing what everyone is going thru financially, I can't help but worry. Question...I just received the current years property value for 2010. The value of my property has dropped over $35,000.00 for one year. Normally I would be jumping for joy (tax reasons), but the problem is that ever since it was announced that they would be widening hwy 92, and they would have to buy me out, the value has dropped over $90,000!
