  1. My husband and I went in 2001, before my youngest was born...it was great. We went on the last day, they let us buy the products that they had set up , we bought a brand new stroller, pack and play, bassinett, and high chair...we bought everything for less than $150. We also got free diaper bags, samples out the wazoo, and free baby bottles, (Dr. Browns) I swear they were the only bottles we used with Macee, and she never, ever, had air on her tummy and she never threw up after feeding. They were wonderful, and had I not been there and seen their presentation and gotten free samples, I just know she would have been like her sister and regurgitated after every bottle.

Anyway, try to go on the last day and stay until the end...most of the vendors will sell the items they are showing because they do not want to have to pack them and take them back with them.

  2. I worked for general surgeons for years doing everything in the office from checking patients in, filing insurance (Medical coding) and assisting in minor surgeries. I still kept thinking about doing the transcription from home. I am hoping that it is the right decision for me, I really want to contribute to the household income again, and be there for my kids.

  3. I am currently enrolled with PCDI doing the MT course. I was in the medical field for 13 years off and on, taking time out to be with my kids. In school we touched on Medical transcription, and it is something that I really liked so I decided to try doing it from home. So far I really like the course, I am reviewing the medical terminology now.

  4. Well. OK, let me preface this post by saying that I have been through unimaginable pain in my neck and shoulders over the last six months. NOTHING I have done has helped very much for very long. Several months ago, I had surgery on my neck/near spine, and I thought maybe this was a result of that. But nothing I have done has helped. At all. I am in pain almost every waking moment, and often I don't sleep well because I wake up in pain.

Back on the weekend of Paulding Meadows, Hubby and I were walking through together, and I agreed to a spinal examination with Dr. Jay from Loving Touch chiropractic. I had assumed that my pain was due to the computer-centric work I do every single day and have done for a number of years. Well of course, their exam was a come-on for setting up an appointment for evaluation--for $20--all of which went to the Sherrif Department's children's charity, which I thought was just the greatest deal ever. I could go into their office for an evaluation that included a full exam and x-rays. I had my appointment on Friday of last week.

"Dr. Jay" was great--let me just say that first-off. But he also suspected I had a BIG problem going on with my spine--which I already knew (did I mention my daily pain already?)

So, he examined me and took x-rays. I went back today to consult with him about my x-rays, and I could not believe what I saw. I have a serious problem with my neck and spine. Clearly, my right shoulder is about 2" lower than my left shoulder, and there is a major curvature in my neck and a compressed vertabrae. Just exactly everywhere where I have pain, coincidentally.

To make a long story at least a bit shorter, he adjusted my neck at my visit today, and it created an IMMEDIATE release of the pain I've had for the last 2 weeks in my right shoulder.

I guess I just wanted to ask others--have you had really good success with chiropractic treatment? I'm thinking this guy could really help me with my pain. He's shown me how and why. Hubby has no faith in chiropractors, but he'll support me if that's what I want to do.

Please share any stories you have. I feel so good right now! And it was my first "adjustment"!!

Oh yes...I had severe back pain for years, and after 2 visits the pain was relieved...I have not been back in over a year, and pain if any is very mild compared to before.
