I agree its a good discussion. One that should be taking place BEFORE we write a bill and especially before we vote on it.

There is nothing wrong with that Bill. The bill protects churches, ministers etc who do not want to marry gay people. I think they should retain that right, don't you?

The reason I ask is because they Stone gay people in Iran just for being gay. That is kind of why I object to meeting with the Iranians. See its not us Republicans who hate gay people or African Americans. We actually judge people by their character. One guy I really do love, although I am not gay is Senator Cruz.....love that man.

Eddie you dont have to keep posting the charts, I get the point that wealth has increased for the top 1 percent but not for the middle class. Its loud and clear. This is what happens in an economy that is stagnant. To fire up the engine of the economy the government has to get out of the way but they refuse to. Businesses went overseas to get away from unions, government and high operating costs. If we were to fire up the engine of the economy business would come back.

Thats the best plan actually. Since the exchange has to accept preexisting conditions you can just buy the insurance when you really need it. For instance, say you have a car and dont want to buy the insurance because its so expensive each month. When you wreck your car you can just buy the insurance after you wreck the car and get it all fixed. This Obamacare is great, I wont get it till I have cancer or a heart condition then I will pay my first premium.

Actually Eddie the government is the biggest Fraud in our society. How many people are now on food stamps? Food stamps were passed out for votes.....I call that fraud.

Yesterday the President was said to have been willing to meet with the new Iranian Leader (President I suppose). The Iranian did not meet with President Obama because it was not a good idea I suppose. Not really sure what happened but it was the Iranians who decided not to meet personally with the President. What say you?

17 Percent of the Economy is going straight into the hands of the Bureaucrats. There is never going to be a positive result as history shows. There is not one government agency in the history of this country that runs efficiently. The next push will be to privatize healthcare as we are trying to privatize Social Security. The Bureaucrats have ruined social security by using that money to fund overspending. The overspending comes from politicians spending to get reelected. The fox in the hen house is being fed more chickens.....that make sense?

Actually I am having a great day. But let me explain. The way the board is set up when you reply to a post you can quote it if you are replying to a specific topic but if in sequence there is no quote. So when you mentioned freedom in the very next post I assume you are replying to the last post. Its the typical way things are done on these boards. Remember in school when you had to write explaining what you mean with detail as to not confuse the reader. That applies here too.

You missed the point. The person I was asking about freedoms did not state it about the military, they stated it in general.

And you are OK with the government running your healthcare? Really?

Why would you want to ban those stated tattoos and give up the freedoms?

Let me simplify it for you. There are 40 million more people who are going to be on the healthcare exchanges. That means someone is going to have to pay for the deadbeats who cant pay for themselves. This means ALL of us working people will pay more, significantly more.

Tattoos have always been banned by the UCMJ. Its considered defacing government property. If you had tattoos already before joining the service then it was accepted but apparently the regulation of accepting preexisting tattoos is changing. Many sailors would get tattoos in port and it was ignored and not enforced unless the tattoo was in a particular obvious location like the neck etc. Everyone knew not to push it and got the typical arm or leg tattoos.

I have encouraged my son to be a boy like you obviously do. He is now 28 yrs old but he had a great child hood climbing trees, fighting in the yard with other kids, playing army, throwing fake handgrenades and blowing up the dog etc. Other parents have pussified their kids.
