    I just quit my job!

    I just put my notice in at my job. I am not sure whether to cry or be happy! My last day is Friday!

    I have to say "Way to go!" Sometimes I wish I could do that!! How are you leaving so quickly? They don't need a notice?

    I went to pick up a prescription at Sam's yesterday. While I was there I decided to buy another item. When I went to pay for them, it popped up that our membership would be expiring on February 16 and did I want to renew. I asked the woman in the pharmacy if I could renew at that register and she said I could but I might not want to. She said that the memberships are for one year--from the date you become a member or renew. Sooooooooo, if you are like me and pay all your bills as soon as they arrive, you're losing weeks of membership. I told her I wondered about that because I was quite sure that initially we joined in April and now for some reason our renewal date was in mid-February.

     

    We actually had gotten a bill for renewal around the first of the year but we've debated renewing or else I would have already done that. Now I'll wait. And we're still debating that renewal. <_<

    I really want some updates. This is WAY to close to my home!

     

    We attend church at New Salem Baptist Church where he was a member. I didn't know him, but know his aunt. I just spoke with the church admin and what seems to have happened is that he gave a job to an ex convict. This man decided that he wanted what Mr. Wills had and so he not only robbed him, but killed him too. From what we've heard, they have a suspect in custody.

     

    This is so sad. Please pray for this family.

    Okay...I have a 2 1/2 year old little boy. He frequently says he "doesn't feel good". When asked what doesn't feel good or point to what feels bad he usually says his head. Says he has a headache. Sometimes he won't eat or whatever. Then he sometimes tells me he wants the pink medicine(generic ibuprofen). Is he for real or is it just b/c he likes the taste of the medicine. Mind you it isn't every day that he complains about his head, but I don't know if he's faking or what. He does get and has gotten several sinus infections since birth. (seems that he has severe sinus problems...during the spring and fall he's on antibiotics at least every 2 months and is constantly snotty/congested sounding).. Any advice is welcomed as I am desperate and worried. Thanks!

    This is what I noticed and noone has commented on. He could just like the taste of the medicine, but I find it odd that sometimes he won't eat and he's only 2 1/2. That makes me think there is more to it than "just liking medicine". I would check with the pediatrician. I also had good outcome with chiropractors when I had allergies as a child.

    A lot of you barely know me but let me take some time to shed just a little light on my life.

     

    I quit highschool and I really was upset about the whole thing. I didnt want to do it but I had played around and its just something that I had to do. I looked down on myself as I tried picking the pieces of my life back up and slowly getting them back together......

    Well today the mail came and I got my GED scores back.

     

    I PASSED THEM ALL.....I was so excited and I just had to hell everyone

     

     

    I think that is AWESOME! I quit school (because I thought I knew everything - haha). I got my GED. It is as much accepted as a diploma. I now work at Kennesaw State University. It is wonderful that you have big plans for yourself - keep it up!

    What a complete LOSER. :angry2: Wonder if the shelter could put him on a NO ADOPTIONS list?

     

    It's very nice of y'all to try and find this dog a new home --- thanks for making the effort!

     

    I had to laugh out loud at that! If you only knew the WHOLE story - oh my! We've tried for the dog. I guess she'll have to go back to the pound. I hate that, but maybe someone will see her and love her.

    I just spoke with my son and he said the pound is supposed to pick her up in the morning. :(

    Has she been fixed and is she current on shots?

     

     

    I unfortunately have to say, "no, and no". This young man moved to town and immediately adopted this dog from the shelter (he couldn't even care for himself). He actually told the pound that the dog ran away so that he didn't have to have her fixed.

     

    I spoke to the pound this morning. They will take her back. We are just trying to find a family who will love her and care for her without putting her through that.

    Free to a good home! My children rent a home in Hiram. Their roommate (who had to have a dog), moved away unexpectedly and didn't take his dog with him. The dog is left in their care and they are unable to care for it, but don't want to take it to the pound. The dog is part boxer, part lab. She is a pretty dog.

     

    Can someone please give her a good home??

    Yes he did! Both my boys went EPHS. The oldest graduated in 2001.

     

     

    I'm so sorry that your son has experienced this tragedy. He truly has a special heart. May God be with him and this family in their loss.

    Awww.... You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the best wishes! On the fourth of July my family and I made tie dyed t-shirts. We are all wearing them to Johnny's Pizza tonight for a tie-dye birthday bash! If you see a bunch of people at Johnny's on East Paulding Drive in tie-dye shirts - IT'S US! Happy Day! B)
