  1. penske89-i have 2 that attend EPHS and last night and today after school my son and his friends have sat and watched these ... thanks so much .. they love it... I have a ? for ya -- do you have all the half time on tape or just the queen being crowned??? Thanks again so much for doing this... it is awesome!

no i only have a little of halftime I was trying to warm my hands back up so i could tape the rest. If you notice the 2nd half gets a little shaky I WAS FREEZING

  2. Thank you so much for placing the videos for everyone to view. I know how much work and time in editing you must be putting into this. The fans and students of EPHS will cherish this in years to come.

Curious? How long will youtube keep the video's up? Is there a time limit?

Yes it does take some time to edit all the footage but I love to do it so the students can enjoy it as i do. I'm not sure if there is a time limit or not but i started keeping the original footage in case it does. It looks alot better on a tv in dvd format

Thank you both its the first feedback I've really gotten

  3. I have 8 tapes I recorded on my HI8 camcorder and would like to have them copied on a DVD.

I doubt many of the tapes are full and don't care if several are recorded on the same DVD if space is available.

Do any of you know someone locally I can get to do this and about what would I expect to pay for the service?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated......

    Thanks

If you have a computer with a dvd burner you can buy a convertor at walmart or target its made by ADS heres the link http://www.adstech.com/products/USBAV-709-...id=USBAV-709-EF I think its around 70 dollars

  4. It was $450 exactly, Os. Plus you tipped them and gave them icey cold beers, Remember?

These men executed the removal of the trees with precision. They were thorough and I highly recommend them! :)

I hope you gave them the beer after they brought the trees down LOL

  5. They will give free estimates.

We had 2 80' Sweet Gums that were struck by lightning. They brought them down, hauled them away, ground down the stump, for under $450. (I think)

I would use them in a heartbeat.

Thanks it gives me an idea. I had a guy stop buy last year as he was passing and told me he would top it for 800.00 I told him i would think about it. (it didnt take me long to think about it)

  6. I have some big oak tree in my yard that are dying and the limbs keep falling on the house. I was wondering what something like that would cost. Round about figure because they would probaly have to look at the job first but I'm trying to figure out how much money I'll need to save up.

  7. Our subdivision HOA just recently put up a "NO SOLICITING" sign at the entrance. Before they did we had people here all the time trying to sell something. Now that the sign is up you would think that it would stop. But no. Last week we had ANOTHER "college student" here trying to sell subscriptions for a newspaper. They give you their whole spill before you have a chance to say anything. I was so caught off guard that I just did like I always did before the sign was up. I politely said no thanks however many times it took to get him to leave. Then it hit me. :excl: He shouldn't have even been here in the first place. (I tried to call one of the HOA members who lives a couple of houses down from me to warn him, but apparently he wasn't home. Lucky dog.) It was always my understanding that college kids could "read" simple little signs. So why were they here? There were several of them in 1 car to cover the entire neighborhood.

What can legally be done the next time they ring my doorbell? I'm sure there will be a next time. :glare: I want to be prepared...

I had the the same thing happen. Oliver Trace ? I just told her sorry i dont read the paper and closed the door. I hate to be rude but they will keep you at your door forever if you dont cut them off

  8. Wish I could, but mine Tivo'd but I can't watch it since my remote seems to be broken. :( Guess I need a new one. I usually go online to BB site on CBS and check out what the bloggers have to say if I miss a show.

Thanks big bee I'll try that

  11. Hey all,

My car's rattling, so I have to take her to the doctor tomorrow. I work in Paulding, so I was planning on taking her somewhere up there. The question is - does anybody know of a good, honest mechanic in Paulding that you could recommend? If so, where are they located? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I've always used Dallas Automotive Repair (770) 445-3405 they have always done right by me and at a good price 838 Villa Rica Hwy
