    Biographical: Born in Paulding County in a little country house on the ridge. She met and married Dewey J. Benson and they moved to Atlanta in 1940. Later years she was employed for the city of Atlanta in the Building Inspector Office where she retired after approximately 32 years. Her husband Dewey J. Benson passed away in January of 2002

    She enjoyed her family and grandchildren and great grandchild. She was a devoted Elvis fan all the days of her life.

     

    Services: 12 noon in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday January 3, 2004 with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating. Music: Jeff Eberhart & Becky Beardon. Tape selections of Elvis Presley Gospel Music. Interment at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
