The daughter of the late, Clarence Stead Foster and the late, Elizabeth Cordelia Watson Foster, she was born August 11, 1925, in Paulding County. Ms. Foster’s brother, James C. (Jim) Foster, and a sister, Kate Foster, preceded her in death. She graduated from Dallas High School in 1942 and from LaGrange College in 1946.
